Claude and ChatGPT

Connect Claude or ChatGPT to Nucle.OS.

Use your own AI assistant with your Nucle.OS workspace: ask about your clients, projects, time and money, or have it set things up for you. It works as you, sees only what you can see, and never sends or deletes.

Connector address

https://www.getnucleos.com/api/mcp

The same address for every workspace. You sign in with your Nucle.OS account (OAuth), so there is no key to copy. Signed in, you also find it under Settings → Connected apps.

In Claude

On claude.ai or the desktop app.

  1. 1In Claude, open Settings → Connectors and choose Add custom connector.
  2. 2Name it Nucle.OS and paste https://www.getnucleos.com/api/mcp as the address. Leave the advanced settings empty.
  3. 3Choose Connect. Nucle.OS opens: sign in as you normally do.
  4. 4Pick the workspace Claude should work in, and choose Allow.
  5. 5Back in Claude, turn Nucle.OS on for the chat from the tools menu, and ask away.

In ChatGPT

Set up on chatgpt.com.

  1. 1In ChatGPT on the web, open Settings → Apps & Connectors → Advanced settings and turn on Developer mode. Custom connectors need a paid ChatGPT plan.
  2. 2Choose Create, name it Nucle.OS, paste https://www.getnucleos.com/api/mcp and choose OAuth for authentication.
  3. 3Sign in to Nucle.OS when asked, pick the workspace, and choose Allow.
  4. 4In a new chat, add Nucle.OS from the tools menu and ask away.

Other apps that support MCP

Any app that connects to remote MCP servers with OAuth works the same way: give it the address above. In Claude Code, for example:

claude mcp add --transport http nucleos https://www.getnucleos.com/api/mcp

Try asking

Things to ask it

Your assistant picks the right Nucle.OS tools. A few to start with:

  • “What's in my pipeline this month, and which deals haven't moved in two weeks?”
  • “Set up a project for Acme's website with Discovery, Design and Launch milestones, and put the homepage tasks under Design.”
  • “Log 2 hours on the Acme website for today: wireframes.”
  • “Who owes us money, and which invoice is the oldest?”
  • “Add Sarah Lee from Globex as a lead. She asked for a quote on a rebrand.”
  • “What did we agree on yesterday's call with Acme?”

Ready-made prompts, one click in Claude’s + menu

  • Weekly client update

A short update for one client on their projects this week, as an email draft for you to send.

  • Plan my week

Your tasks, meetings and who's away this week, laid out day by day.

  • Who owes us money

Overdue and unpaid invoices by client, with who to chase first.

  • How did the month go

Revenue, margin, utilisation, pipeline and cash coming in for a month.

  • Prepare for a meeting

Who you're meeting, where things stand with them, and what to cover.

What it can read

  • Clients, companies, contacts, leads and deals, and the pipeline
  • Projects, milestones, tasks and project health
  • Time, retainers, invoices, payments, expenses, profitability and cash flow
  • The team's capacity, who is off, and who has time free
  • Your meetings and the transcripts of the ones you were in
  • Notes, documents, company knowledge, form responses, workflows and sequences
  • Recent activity and what is waiting for your approval
  • Your LinkedIn and WhatsApp conversations that are linked to a contact or lead, if you connected them (an add-on)

What it can change

  • Create and update tasks, and repeating tasks
  • Create projects and their milestones, and put tasks under a milestone
  • Add leads, contacts and companies, and update them
  • Create and update deals, and move them between stages
  • Log and correct your own time, and log expenses
  • Draft invoices (never sent) and add or edit your notes

What it never does

  • Send anything to your clients: no emails, invoices or proposals
  • Delete anything
  • Read your email or anything from Gmail
  • Change members, roles, billing or workspace settings

Safe by design

  • It works as you. It sees only what your role sees, in the one workspace you chose. A module you can’t open, it can’t either.
  • Every change says who and how. A task it creates shows on the record as yours, made via the app, and in the audit log.
  • Outside words stay data. Text written by people outside the workspace (form answers, transcripts, notes) reaches the app marked as data, not instructions.
  • You can stop it any time. Disconnect an app in Settings → Connected apps. An owner or admin can switch connected apps off for the whole workspace.
  • Fair limits. 60 calls a minute per connection and 5,000 a day per workspace. Lists return up to 200 rows when the app asks.

Your data

What the app reads goes to that app and its AI provider, under your own account and their terms, including whether it is used for training. We keep which workspace each app is connected to until you disconnect it, and a record of each action it took (the tool and whether it worked, not what you asked) for 90 days. The details are in the privacy policy.

If it doesn’t connect

“This app isn't linked to a Nucle.OS workspace.”
Disconnect Nucle.OS in the app and connect again, then choose a workspace.
“An admin has switched off connected apps for this workspace.”
An owner or admin can switch them back on in Settings → Connected apps.
“This workspace is paused.”
Connected apps work again once the workspace is subscribed.
“Partners and other external members can't connect apps yet.”
Connected apps are for the workspace's own team for now.
You want another workspace.
A connection works in one workspace. Disconnect and connect again to choose another.
